Welcome to the website of The Washington Area Concierge Association (WACA). As we enter into our twenty-forth year, our membership is over 400 strong representing over 50 hotels and 20,000 hotel rooms in the Washington, DC metropolitan area.
WACA exists to foster opportunities for the professional growth and development of our concierge and affiliate members. Our focus is not just inward; we also use our collective strength for charitable activities in the local area, including endowing a scholarship fund for students pursuing a career in the hospitality industry.
Our website provides a tool for understanding and learning about WACA and the profession of CONCIERGE. The publically accessible portion of this site presents our mission, our history, our charitable endeavors, and a solid indication of our commitment to provide extraordinary service to our guests. You will also find information on the benefits and requirements for membership in WACA, a membership application, and contact information for the WACA Board of Directors.
For WACA members, this site provides information regarding future meetings, events and activities as well as a detailed list of contacts and resources. One benefit of membership is access to our wide network of members located virtually in every aspect of the hospitality industry in the nation’s capital. Another benefit of membership is the ability to keep one another abreast of new items of interest to the concierge and their guests through our various networking opportunities such as monthly meetings and educational outings.
